The Remnant of Orcus

The Remnant of Orcus is the malevolent, invading cult within The Sliver and the lands of Eternum. Below is a summary of what the party has learned about The Remnant:

• The ROO is led by Ileana (BBEG) who has learned of The Sliver from Cassius Vernon. Her goal is to corrupt The Sliver so that all resurrection is redirected into undeath. She aims to present this victory as a dowry and offer herself to Orcus as his Bride, The Bride of Orcus. 

• Cassius Vernon is one of Ileana's generals. Sometime in the past, he was undergoing the Trials to be resurrected. On his final attempt, he rejected the opportunity to become an Advenar and chose to pursue his 7th Attempt. However, he never actually attempted to complete his trials. By some wicked means, he was able to connect with the Material Plane and to Ileana and grant The Remnant access to The Sliver. 

• Two chaos dragons: Doniathon the Red and Sevsus the Black were seen by Sankara in the region of Quaymire where Ileana was meeting with The Aboleth. 

• The Remnant has an occupying presence in Mirkarken and information from Sankara's investigations in Quaymire has revealed that The Remnant is establishing their base there in Quaymire with aims to discover The World Engine. 

• There is a group of generals named by Ravinia as The Hand of the Bride. The party is aware of the following members:
