Episode 34: Baahamoot & Fairview

Sailing through the skies upon The Devourer, our heroes pass over Fairview on the hunt for Baahamoot to find it blanketed in a sandstorm. It appears the Baahamoot has found its way to this dear town and now threatens the citizens. Days of planning paid off for the party when they were able to defeat the creature with little collateral damage. 

Their victory was short lived when a new enemy, Ravinia, appeared on the battlefield and tricked Gallogk into divulging the location of Ariessa and Ignatius. I would appear that she was there to retrieve the two captives aboard the Devourer. Ravinia set fire to the town hall, killing many citizens, and began to summon a portal above the city similar to that which appeared in Mirkarkden. However, our heroes were able to thwart that plan and prevent a greater deluge of evil. A battle ensued between our heroes, Ravinia, and her demons. Ravinia dimension-doored away and escaped-- her minions buying her time to flee and the demons were eventually felled. The party once again ended up victorious in Fairview. 

The session ended with Mayor McGreggin standing amidst the sands of Baahamoot and the flames of the Town Hall in tears. "Is this the darkness you said was coming?"
