Episode 14: Of Fey and Fearn

The party's adventure through the Fey Forest toward the Much-Room continues. Victorious over cats, Displacer Beasts, Awakened Trees, Vine Blights, Ogres, and strength-sapping Wraiths the overcame many challenges. The first was a moon and starlight bridge conjured by the satiated Lady of Silver. The second was most peculiar: The Seelie and Unseelie Mirror

"Speak truly and truly you will see. Both Seelie and Unseelie reflected verily in me" our heroes heard echo from the mirror. The question asked was simple: What is your worst fear? Gallogk, Bjorn and Sankara elected to answer, but only Bjorn and Sankara answered truly. In the mirror, Bjorn saw himself burned and charred. Sanakra saw himself torn and eviscerated. Both then saw a glowing, blue ichor pour from their bodies to be collected in a glass blub and sealed. Suddenly, the reflection went dark followed by Bjorn and Sankara's vision. A family sensation crept over them: At first, there is only darkness and the sense of panic and uncertainty that often follows. Moments pass. Then gently, the sounds of a busy tavern begins to fill your ears and darkness gives way to the gentle radiance of a warm fir0eplace and the glowing lanterns that are suspended from oak beam rafters overhead. The vision ended with the shattering of glass and the breaking of the mirror.

Gallogk forged a war hammer from the silver of the Seelie and Unseelie Mirror. Bjorn retained a shard of its glass.

The party traveling as far darkward as possible down into a subterrainian carvern. The Much-Room was discovered to be surrounded by monsters it had arcanely kept in stasis via defensive crystals. The decision was made to destroy one crystal at a time. The blue crystal was first.

The episode ended with the Ettercaps being loosed and combat beginning! Minotaurs remain in stasis under the pink crystal, and Bugbears remain held by the green crystal.
